To ensure the safety and comfort of our guests, Orion Hotel Motobu Resort & Spa has established the following rules of use in accordance with Article 10 of the Accommodation Agreement. Please observe these rules. If you do not observe these rules, we may be forced to refuse your stay or use of the hotel's facilities in accordance with Article 7 of the Accommodation Agreement. Please also note that in the event of an accident, you may be held liable for any damages.

Article 1 (Guest Room Use)

  1. Please check the evacuation route posted on the back of the guest room entrance door.
  2. Please refrain from allowing anyone other than registered guests into your room.
  3. Please note that long-term accommodation does not confer any legal rights regarding residence.
  4. We do not allow minors to stay alone without the permission of their guardians. We also ask that guests who are mentally or physically impaired, or who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or who are otherwise unable to reason, cause inconvenience or anxiety to other guests, refrain from staying at the hotel.

Article 2 (Room Key)

  1. Please make sure to lock your room when you leave it during your stay.
  2. When using the restaurants, bars, and other facilities within the hotel, please present your room key card when signing the bill.
  3. Please be sure to latch the door when you are in your room and when you go to sleep.
  4. Please be sure to return your room card key to the front desk when you leave the hotel.

Article 3 (Visitors)

  1. Please meet with visitors in the lobby at night.
  2. When someone knocks on your door, please open the door with the latch on, or check through the door scope. If you suspect a suspicious person, please contact the front desk (dial 1).
  3. We will not allow visitors to enter the museum after midnight.

Article 4 (Guidelines for use of guest rooms, restaurants, etc.)

  1. Please do not use fires or candles for heating or cooking in the guest rooms or corridors without permission from the hotel. Cooking in the guest rooms is also strictly prohibited.
  2. Please do not use guest rooms for business purposes, offices, parties, or any other purposes other than accommodation without permission from the hotel.
  3. Please do not move any furniture or make any alterations to the room without the permission of the hotel. You will be charged for any damage, breakage or loss.
  4. Please do not take any guest room items out of the room.
  5. Please do not place anything on the terrace or near windows that may spoil the appearance of the hotel.
  6. Please refrain from meeting visitors in your room at any time.
  7. Smoking is prohibited in all guest rooms, including balconies. Please smoke in designated areas. Please refrain from any other behavior that may cause a fire. If you smoke in your room, you will be charged the actual cost of cleaning bedding, curtains, wallpaper, etc., and any other repairs.
  8. Please do not take photographs, videos, DVDs, or any other recordings for commercial purposes in the guest rooms or on the premises without permission. Furthermore, even if you have taken or recorded something for personal use, please do not post it on the internet or elsewhere for commercial purposes without permission.
  9. Please meet visitors and guests staying at the Ocean Wing in the Ocean Wing Lobby.
  10. Parents should keep an eye on their children when they are swimming in the indoor and outdoor pools. Elementary school and preschool children should always be supervised by their parents.

Article 5 (Valuables)

During your stay, please use the safe deposit box (free of charge) provided in each room to store cash, securities, precious metals, and other valuables. If you do not use this safe deposit box, the hotel will not be held responsible for any loss or theft that may occur.

Article 6 (Deposited Items)

Regardless of whether you are staying at the hotel or not, we will not accept artwork, antiques, securities, perishable or easily damaged items, etc.
Unless otherwise specified, the storage period for your items will be as follows:
In accordance with the law, any items left in our care after the storage period has expired will be disposed of as if there is no intention to collect them.

  1. Items left at the front desk for overnight guests and visitors: 1 month
  2. Cloakroom storage: 1 month

Article 7 (Lost Property)

Please be aware that lost items will be kept for seven days, including the day of discovery, after which they will be delivered to the nearest police station.
(For food and beverages, from a hygiene perspective, they will be kept for three days including the day of discovery, and disposed of on the fourth day.)
Please note that the cost of shipping lost items will be borne by the customer.

Article 8 (Parking Lot Usage)

  1. Please follow the guidance and instructions of staff within the hotel premises.
  2. Please do not leave any valuables or other items in your car while it is parked. We will not be held responsible for any loss or theft while your car is parked.
  3. Please also observe the hotel's parking lot management regulations.

Article 9 (Checkout)

  1. Please pay your usage fees at the front desk in cash, vouchers, or credit cards. Please note that we cannot accept traveler's checks or foreign currency payments.
  2. Please note that a deposit may be required upon arrival.
  3. We may ask you to settle your bill even during your stay. Please make payment each time. If you do not pay even after being requested by the hotel, you may be asked to vacate your room.
  4. If payment is to be received from a person other than the guest, and payment is not made by the specified due date, we will request payment directly from the guest.
  5. Please note that we do not pay for shopping at facilities not operated by the hotel or outside the hotel. We will not pay for shopping expenses, tickets, taxi fares, postage stamps, luggage shipping, etc.
  6. Please note that a facility usage fee will be charged when using the in-room telephone (including international access telephones), fax machine, or data line.
  7. In addition to statutory taxes, we charge a 10% service charge, so we do not accept tips.

Article 10 (Bringing in or other actions)

Please refrain from bringing in or engaging in any of the following items that may cause inconvenience to other guests within the hotel.

  1. Dogs, cats, small birds, and other pets (excluding assistance dogs such as guide dogs).
  2. Ignition or flammable materials.
  3. Those that emit foul odors, harmful substances, and noise.
  4. Other items prohibited by law (firearms, swords, stimulants, etc.)
  5. Gambling, intimidating behavior, actions that disrupt public morals, or actions and behavior that cause disgust or inconvenience to other customers (including noise).
  6. You may enter public spaces from floors G to 3 only wearing pajamas, slippers, and a swimsuit.
  7. Moving fixtures or using them for purposes other than their intended use.
  8. Advertising, distribution of promotional materials, sale of goods, solicitation, etc.
  9. Entering or parking at the hotel facilities in a campaign vehicle, modified vehicle, or any other vehicle or appearance that the hotel deems likely to cause anxiety or inconvenience to other guests.
  10. Ordering or bringing in food and drinks from outside the hotel.
  11. Long hours of work commitments (including time commitments for phone calls, emails, etc.)
  12. Any other conduct that the Hotel deems inappropriate.

Article 11 (Environmental Policy)

In order to conserve resources, we ask for your cooperation in conserving electricity and water.
